Curriculum Management System

This Curriculum Management System (CMS) was developed to bring order, transparency, and efficiency to the Business Schools curriculum processes.

 

Before this initiative, curriculum creation and revision lacked a cohesive structure—departments worked independently, and approvals were difficult to track. Collaborating with the Registrar, Curriculum Committee, and leaders from Teaching & Learning, Advising, Recruiting, and Business Career Services, our team designed and implemented a comprehensive, policy-driven workflow that unified all stages of curriculum management across undergraduate and graduate programs.

This project produced a fully integrated system featuring an intranet portal, automated Asana workflows, interactive dashboards, and consistent communication tools. Faculty, scheduling deputies, and advisors now receive automated updates at every stage, enabling better coordination for classroom scheduling and program promotion. The result is a sustainable and transparent curriculum process that reduced turnaround times, improved collaboration, and enhanced data accuracy across the college.

Problem

Our College lacked a unified, transparent workflow for curriculum creation, revision, and expiration. Departments operated in silos, approval steps were unclear, and communication breakdowns delayed course and program updates.
